ABOUT ME

Polly Maschinski lives and works in the Chicago suburbs. She is a single mother with twin sons who has learned the importance of faith, family and community. Her Grandmother was the driving force that sent her back to school in her late 30’s to obtain her degree in Gerontology. She did not stop there obtaining her degree in Human Services and in Family Violence Counseling. Polly has worked for the Kenneth Young Center a Non-for Profit agency and Private Corporations. She is an active member of Senior Advisory Councils for the Kenneth Young Center and Congresswoman Melissa Bean. She has been a guest speaker at Elgin Community College and Roosevelt University. She has provided outreach to the community on benefits and services provided by Government, State and local organizations. She is passionate about serving those in need by applying her knowledge and skills to help obtain and maintain what we all want, our independence and dignity
